Rated 4 out of 5 by When I came across this in the store i immediately fell in love. I never read any of the reviews behind it and so I bought it right away. Little did i know some people had problems fitting it over top of their light switches. I came across the same problem with mine. To clarify the problem I had - The back of the switch-plate is completely flat and my light switch has bumps and imperfections around it caused by the metal that cannot be smoothed down. I did however manage to get one screw in all the way and the other one partially in, so it did end up working for me. I believe this product is a hit and miss depending on your light switch. If you love it buy it, try it, and if it doesn't work you can always return. February 5, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Burn After Buying For $18 you get a slightly warped and abnormal plate that you may install with your own screws. If you have an older home, you will undoubtedly be able to see previous paint jobs and the shadow of the plate before this one. It is a pretty plate but just does not fit how it should. It's just a bit too narrow and short. And seriously, they couldn't include screws? Really? July 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by beautiful "vintage" piece These are beautiful - they look AWESOME with light or dark painted walls. I painted our hallway Valspar "agave blue" the past weekend and added the 3 switch plate cover and it looks absolutely amazing. almost like a piece of art! I also used one in a guest bathroom that has the marta stewart "vintage map" paint and looks great too. they are expensive...esp. if you have a lot of covers, but I would say to use them strategically. don't use them when a piece of furniture is covering...and i would just use them in higher traffic areas so they make a difference! the only reason why quality is 4 stars, is that I sometimes had difficultly lining up the screws exactly - eventually i was able to get it, but it look some trial and error and a little bit of adjusting. Other than that, they are perfect! July 26, 2009
