Rated 3 out of 5 by Anthropolgist5 Doesn't Age Well
I ordered this couch for my mom a few years ago when I was an anthro employee. We had it in our store so I got to see how the leather started off shiny, slippery, and newer (definitely not hte vintage anthro look in the photo) and then became more scratched and worn in. I like how the leather aged in the store. It loosed up a bit, and the shine went away. However, my mom's couch aged much differently from the anthro couch. First, the anthro couch wasn't exposed to sun, and my mom's couch started to fade in the areas that got sunlight (not even prolonged direct sunlight). Second, the couch cushion did not age well. The middle of the couch has sagged quite a bit. My mom has had people out to add additional padding to the couch, but it?s still sagging, and you can feel the frame underneath. I realized that the couch in our store didn?t really get much real use ? just the occasional husband waiting while someone tried on clothes. All in all, it?s not so bad because it wasn?t as expensive for me. However, I wouldn?t buy one full price. It?s now in my parent?s basement instead of being the beautiful vintage, distressed couch they were hoping for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gigi2008 Perfect lounging sofa
This is our everyday TV/lounging sofa. It is extremely comfortable as it supports your entire back while sitting. It is very attractive too- and quite massive- three adults can sit on it with room to spare. It has a distressed look which makes everyday wear and tear blend in perfectly- it gets better with age! I love the scrolled arms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KBrac I love it as much today...
I love the Cotswold as much today as when we bought it five years ago. It's very cozy but slightly grand at the same time. It works well in our mid-century rancher paired with mid-century furniture but I could just as easily see it looking at home in almost any decor style. After five years of everyday wear it's getting nicely worn in but nowhere near worn out. It is definitely heirloom quality.
