Rated 4 out of 5 by CUTE! Tried this on today as it's SO cute in person! I am usually either an XS or a S. I tried on the Small, and the arms were really really tight (which I usually don't have issues with), and the fabric doesn't have any stretch in it. I don't know how the model's arms look so baggy and how she even got the arms to bunch up?!? Things that make you go hmmmm...perhaps they would stretch out after wearing it for a bit? The lace is more of a white color while the sweatshirt portion is like a dirty ivory color. I think it looks fine together, but I do know that sort of thing can bother some people ; ) The lace is a woven cotton and a little stiff. Perhaps it would soften once washed? The length is great and makes it a tunic and flows over the hips nicely and I was wearing skinny jeans underneath. The bow at the back neck makes it even more special. For your reference I am a 32D (35" bust), 27" waist, 38" hip and 5'9" tall. January 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Had so much potential... I wanted so much to love this top but it was so boxy! For reference, I am 5'9" 145lbs and the medium was the best fit.. This looked so cute on the hanger and the quality was great. I loved that the ruffled bottom layer was thick enough to not be seen through and the sleeve length was long enough. The problem for me was in the fit. The part of the shirt where the sweater ends fell right on my widest part. Because the sweater doesn't give any waist definition, it made my entire torso look as wide as my hips. I still recommend trying this on because it might look fantastic on a different body type. I'm thinking someone less curvy could pull this off. February 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hard to Resist This top is a truly unique, and casually shabby chic! I love pairing it with skinny jeans and rugged tall boots, but as noted by other reviewers, the sleeves are oddly snug with barely any give. It's wearable and fit just enough to justify keeping, but the bodice; although equally unforgiving on stretch, fits marginally true to size. The top part reminds me of potato sack material...burlap-ish. Keep that in mind when ordering online. This is one I would try on in the store before purchasing as the material is just so ridged and sturdy. Overall, I simply love the way it wears and it's mix of comfortable sophistication.
