Rated 1 out of 5 by Just...NO. This dress had so much potential viewing it online. Great print. But I agree with the other writer that the fabric resembles a scuba suit. It's AWFUL and heavy. Terrible design. Bad overall. Don't waste your money. I wouldn't even buy this dress if it went on sale. Terrible! It's going back. Way over priced. December 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Incredibly beautiful and incredibly flattering Sizing: True to size, I think. Ordered a Small Petite, my usual size and it wasn't too short on me at all. Came to two or so inches above the knee, looked smasshing!! with patterned dark hose. Quality: Yes, the dress is HEAVY but the fabric is smooth and incredibly comfortable. From some of the other reviews, I;d gotten the impression that the dress was woolly and itchy and thick, but, while heavy, it's not thick at all. Cutenss factor: And it's VERY flattering!! I wore it to the office today and got rave reviews from everyone. My husband noted that it was about 3/4 inch shorter in the back than in the front, so I added a slip to keep the dress from getting caught up on the pantyhose and that fixed that. I highly recommend this dress! Sophisticated and yet at the same time cute without being cutesy or too young (I'm way over age 55) Styling: I needed the dark hose, I felt, because of where the dress hits me. But didn't need a belt or a necklace because the dress is like a piece of jewelry in itself. I just added some black square-toed Via Spiga mules from 1999 and some brown long earrings and it was a complete outfit! Care: my only complaint is the incredibly CONFUSING care instructions! I finally figured it was dry clean only, but, believe me, that tag could be interpreted in many different ways. One thing, though: I'm folding it flat and storing it in a drawer because it's so heavy, I'm worried it will lose its shape on a hanger over time. GET THIS DRESS. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!! Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed Like most of the other reviewers, I found the fit of this dress to be very odd. The design is nice, and if you have the model's body size and parameters, the dress would look cute I imagine. I am 5'4" with a 36C bust and more of an hourglass figure. The arms and the bust definitely stretched to that previously mentioned grey-type look. The material is very heavy, but as I said if you have a slender and smaller chest this dress would likely look amazing on you. December 12, 2013
