Rated 4 out of 5 by Slightly more subdued in Person Okay so first, it's slightly more subdued in person. It definitely photographs more sparkletastic than it is in person. Don't misunderstand... it is sparkly in person, just not as liquid metal in look. First sizing. In the photos I'm wearing a size Small Petite. When I debated ordering (before my store got a small petite returned), I was going to order a regular as it looks so short on the model... However, since I'm 5'2" and the petite is still more than decent... I'm guessing the regular would have been way too long as this one fits right above the knee. Other sizing notes? It's a bit big for sure. I definitely could have sized down... but chose the more relaxed feel. I don't have to worry that the more open back will cause it to fall off my shoulders either due to the piece of fabric at the top of the back. A smart touch. Let's talk quality... I'm going to have to institute a no jumping on my lap rule for my dog as I don't think the sequins could handle it. They're sewn in in threads... groups of sequins sharing the same common thread. Break that thread? I'd be afraid of the results as they are square sequins with rounded edges and of a unique color that I imagine would be hard to track down... and mine at least came with no extras. Bummer! Another quality issue? Some of the sequins weren't sewn on properly or wound up getting twisted during shipping (from being folded up)... I got most of them to lay flat with effort... but couldn't get all of them. It's not a huge deal, but with a dress at this price point? I'd prefer that wasn't an issue. One last thing? going back to the sequins.. they didn't trim the end of the thread chains, so there are random thread trails all over the dress... Not that noticeable except up close... but again at this price point? I'd prefer that wasn't an issue... It IS lined, so no scratchiness that often can be synonymous with sequins and actually? even the ones under the arms don't scratch... One other issue...? No matter what I did I couldn't get my bow to look like that on the model (could be a personal problem though) and as for my pictures: 1) ignore my odd facial expressions, 2) I wore boots to show that it can go casual quite readily at any rate this, obviously, came home with me. I know I can wear it during multiple seasons... and since it is a bit more subdued in person it's more versatile than one might think. November 29, 2013

Size Guide

How to Measure

Bust

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
