I'm a huge fan of J Brand jeans, I usually have trouble finding jeans that fit me but most of their styles are cut so well that they usually fit. These jeans are super soft good quality denim, comfy for all day wear, the fading on the jeans is just right and not too over washed. Great for a casual day or to dress up. I'm 5"2 and the length is slightly long on me.

First off, let me start by saying that J Brand jeans are my ABSOLUTE favorite, and these jeans really are an awesome fit, true high-rise (up to my belly button), and, as the reviewer before me pointed out, seriously slimming (especially in the butt department). However, I was really, really disappointed in how far off the wash was from the picture. As an Anthro employee for over 3 years, I know that a lot of Anthro products (and products from every other company ever) don't look exactly as they do in the pictures. But the actual wash isn't just a different shade of blue, it's a completely different hue. First of all, I would consider them to be a dark, not a medium, wash - and not even the kind of dark wash I would consider to be a "dressier" denim. They are kind of have a slate/ stone "blue" bordering on grey. The wash is closer to the "Mother Looker High-Rise Ankle Jeans" (also from Anthro). They also are much more monochromatic (not so much of a lighter wash on the front of the thighs as in the picture). I posted some unfiltered pictures (including one of the tag to show that the jeans I'm wearing are seriously the same style/ wash as these) so you can see for yourself. I'm really torn because these jeans are really flattering, but I really need to replace a pair of J Brands that are closer in color to those pictured... If you're looking for a greyish-blue stone wash, I would 100% recommend these jeans, but if you're looking for an every day, light-to-medium wash high-rise, I'm sorry to say that you should definitely pass!
