Illusion Pencil Dress

Rated 2 out of 5 by Runs HUGE 1. I'm 5'5" tall, 138 lbs, and 36D-31-40 and I ordered a size 10. I'm a size 10 in Anthro pants and skirts. 2. I have some size 8 dresses in my closet, but they've been a hair snug lately, so I thought I'd order a 10 in this dress. It's HUGE. I mean really HUGE. I think a size 8 would be HUGE on me. I swear this fit like it was a size 14. I could not even judge if it was cut right because the shoulders needed to be pulled up 4 inches above my shoulders in order to get the waist and bust to hit me in the right place. 3. Fabric feels like wet suit material. September 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect, Cozy, Fall Workwear I'm in love with this dress. Not only is it comfortable (so soft!) but it is also flattering. I typically wear a size 6, but find myself sizing up in some dresses because I have no defined waist and some 6s tend to hug too tightly around my middle. But not this one...It fits well, and the heavy material has a slight stretch which I appreciate. It is also a great length, and hits me right at the kneeand does not ride up like other stretch dresses seem to do frequently. October 7, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Great idea, but flawed execution I loved the concept of this dress, but not so much the reality of it. I agree with the first reviewer- the fabric is SO heavy, it feels like neoprene (what they make wetsuits out of). The dress is beautifully constructed- in fact, impeccably made. However- the fabric is SO heavy, the dress felt uncomfortable on. I ordered a size 6 petite, my normal size and it was a bit large and still too long. I'm 5'2", 125 lbs.I have 28" waist, 34DD bust. It was also too long overall- nothing hit me in the right place. I really don't think even the 4 petite would have worked. The sleeves looked really cute when my arms were down, but they were oddly tight considering how large the dress was and when I lifted my arms, the WHOLE dress lifted up- it just looked bizarre and felt terribly uncomfortable. This one went back... so disappointed since I loved the concept. October 22, 2013
