I am petite with athletic calves and no hips, and I have trouble with fitted pants like these. Where the majority of reviewers suggested sizing up, those with narrow hips may want to size down. I tried - in the black color - regular size 0, 0P and 00P, and the 00P fit me the best, with the hip width being the biggest factor in my decision. This style of pants are mostly fitted straight down, and if you don't have hips, you end up with loose fabric at the hips that bunches, but fitted elsewhere. I also found them all to be on the tight side in the calves in all sizes. They look great on and I am thrilled with the pair that I got, it just took a few tries to get them "right". 1. I'm 5'5" tall, 140 lbs, and 38-32-40 and the size 10's fit me perfectly. The waist, the hips, the thighs, the shins. Everything fit. Not too tight, not too loose, just right.
2. There is a lot of spandex in these pants. They are very stretchy.
3. The only reason I sent these back is that they rode up my left shin and clung under my knee like velcro. I shaved my legs last night, so my legs were smooth. And the pants were not tight around my shins, and my legs are skinny. I couldn't even shake my leg to get the pant leg to go down. It was soooo weird. The pants looked great, until I walked, and then the pants leg just crept up my left leg in unattractive folds.

I bought these pants yesterday with the thought that I would take them home and see if I wanted to keep them. I wasn't sure how many shirts I had that would match the pants (I got the melon color). Once I got them home there was no way I was taking them back. They are adorable and I found that so many shirts look great with them! I wore them today and they looked great all day. They did stretch out a little, but I am hopeful that they will shrink back in the dryer. They do run small- I had to buy one size up. I actually like them so much that I bought another pair!
