Bought this for an upcoming trip as I needed something that wouldn't wrinkle, I could wear all day in heat and humidity and also would look better than shorts and a t-shirt. This does it all. The fabric is substantial and doesn't hug unfortunate body bumps. It's hard to see in the photo but there is also a red thread seam line going diagonally down the skirt which is a nice detail. I'm usually not a fan of high in the front, low in the back hems, but with the contrasting trim this makes it look artsy. My only complaint is that although it's meant to be casual, the hem is deliberately frayed a bit. Looks messy to me and I'll be trimming fly aways. It also runs very, very large. I typically take a size 10 at Anthropologie, in this dress a size small was perfect. Any larger I'd look like I was wearing a tent.

First off, size down. There is a lot of fabric on this dress. The fit is really nice, I just can't decide if I love the hi low on this. The low part in the back is quite a bit lower than the front. It almost made me feel like I had a lightweight blanket wrapped around me. I think it was the texture and the excess fabric. Also, the hem is unfinished and you could pull the treads out, not sure if they are going for a frayed look, but that's exactly what will happen in time.

I'm 5'4, 135 lbs and usually a size 6 in Anthro dresses. Since it's a flowy style I would have ordered this in a small but after reading the other reviews I decided to try the XS and it fit perfectly. So yeah, it runs a size large, possibly more if you're very small chested (I'm a 34C). The dress fit me exactly as it does on the model pictured. I was concerned it would look too much like a chemise or loungewear but the contrasting red stitching, unique shape and overall quality make it wearable as more than loungewear. I was also afraid it would be unflattering and tent out below my chest but the fabric falls nicely because of the cut of the back. I'd definitely wear this out shopping, to brunch or other casual events. The unfinished hem doesn't bother me but it may get more noticeable over time so I'll probably wash it on delicate and hang-dry. It's artsy and comfortable and I have a feeling I'll get tons of use out of it.
