 by julietd super cute!
these are great shoes for spring/summer! the pic does show a lighter mint, i would say this is a darker mint. it's still nice though. fit is very nice and comfortable. not snug anywhere, which is good because i don't think i will get any blisters from these. i got a 6. not sure if it's worth the $148 plus taxes, but i will probably keep them anyhow.

As I suspected, even before I ordered these sandals, they are not made by Dolce VIta. The product info is inaccurate - it's the same listing as the "Ayden" sandal by DV - also offered by Anthro - so I think that's where the confusion lies. These sandals are made by Matiko (in China). Both the lining and the sandal itself are made of a soft suede-like leather. They definitely fit true to size in length. I usually wear an 8 or rarely an 8.5 and the 8's were perfect in these. The only real concern I have about the fit is that the part that comes up around the ankle is really rather tight. I have tiny ankles and when these squeeze me I can only imagine what they might do to a girl with a larger ankle. The color.....hmm... I was really hoping for a light mint just like the picture. Instead these are much more of what I would I call a "shamrock tic-tac" green. I'm not sure yet but I think the intensity of the color actually takes away from the sophistication of the design. Overall these are lovely sandals but I'm not sure they're worth full price. I'll definitely need to think these over.

I tried on these sandals in store and totally fell in love with them! I had been looking for a pair of sandals for the summer that could be worn with a dress as well as pants and these were perfect for both. Super cute and super comfortable. I wanted to buy the mint color but the practical side in me decided on the sand. I wear a size 7 and have a pretty narrow feet. I tried on the 7 and the 7.5 and the 7 fit perfectly.
