I have to admit I was a bit surprised by the negative reviews for these shoes. They look really cool, and I get compliments on them whenever I wear them. The light color and open toe combined with the full foot coverage in front makes them great for cool spring days. They are not the most comfortable shoes I've worn, but for a high wedge with no platform that's to be expected. It's true they are lined, since the soft suede straps would probably stretch out otherwise, so they are quite warm. That's fine right now, but probably not in the middle of summer. And I don't plan to wear them with dresses because they are a bit tight at the ankle (I have larger ankles), but they look great with skinny jeans. I usually wear a 5.5 - 6, got the 6 in these and they fit perfectly. So I'd say they fit true to size, maybe just a tad on the small side. If you're between sizes, I'd recommend sizing up. They had a very strong smell when I took them out of the box, sort of a glue smell, but it dissipated quickly. They also come in red and black, but I like this color the best. I'm glad I bought them, they're a great addition to my spring wardrobe.

I was disappointed because I love Dolce Vita shoes and I have a wonderful metallic pair with a similar design in soft leather....however, although these wedges have beautiful soft suede ribboning, they are lined on the inside of the top part with man-made material...ick. I feel like my feet would either be rubbing against the unyielding material, or sliding around stickily when it gets hot. Also, they fit slightly small...I guess again because of the unyielding man-made wrapping...sent them back...I did like how they looked though...
