I agree with previous reviews about the button problems and the wrinkling; however, this dress was too cute to pass up buying - love that it has pockets which seem to lay flat and the band at the bottom which makes it more stylish than just a typical dress. I found it a really flattering cut and style (not just a straight cut but does have some styling at the top) and agree that it is versatile to wear now and into the summer - dress boots, heels, or sandals would look great. I did not need to unbutton it to pull on or off so I plan to sew down the buttons as it is annoying that they come undone. Would have loved to see it in a color but I think in black at least the wrinkles are probably not as apparent to others. If you don't iron/steam your clothing or are really bothered by wrinkles you may not like this item. I found it fit TTS.

Even though I wasn't initially drawn to this dress, I gave it a try because of all the good reviews it was getting. I tried my usual size 4 (5'6", 130lbs, 32D-27-38), and I thought it ran large. I didn't try on a 2 though because I was in a rush. The length hit me a few inches above the knee. I did notice the 2nd button from the top kept slipping out of the buttonhole, as other reviewers mentioned. The darts under the top placket-things give the dress slightly more shape than a sack, but the loose fit and shorter length made me feel like I was wearing pajamas. I'd re-evaluate the smaller size come sale time, but a pass for now.

I waited for this dress to return to stock after being on back-order for quite a while, so I have one of this new batch. I did not see the previous batch, so I can't make a comparison; however, I will say that I am not having the top button issue, neither do I think the dress is particularly see-through (enough to warrant a slip that is). Perhaps the previous issues have been addressed (see prior reviews), or perhaps it's just my personal opinion.
Anyway, the dress still pleasantly surprises. I mean, really, it has the potential to go very sack-like, but manages to resist somehow. I think it's elevated to cute-dom for 2 reasons. The first is the biased-cut hem panel. It gives the dress some ballast, so that it drapes well. It sort of reminds me of how people used to put lead wights in the hems of curtains to make them hang better (still a really good trick). The other thing is the material. I love rayon-viscose crepe because it's weight-y but still light enough to wear even in a very hot, humid climates.
Anyway, I'm 5'3 and about 110lbs, 32C/34b, and the 0 regular was perfect. I think it would suit girls of all shapes/sizes though. If you have a large chest and/or fabulous legs (neither of which I have), I am certain this dress will look stunning on you. And if you have a curvy butt or a tummy, you will be thanking Maeve, your fashion fairy god-mother. As for me, my saving grace is a small waist, so I really have to wear it with a belt; nevertheless, it still works well (this is primarily why I went with the regular length).
The price you pay for staying this cute and cool in the summer is a bit of wrinkling. Personally, it doesn't bother me at all (I would never have even noticed had I not read the other reviews); it's giving me slight pause-for-thought about buying the blue version though (which I am currently in love with).
