Rated 3 out of 5 by Weird fit, 2 different skirts Had to have this skirt! Loved it! I ordered my normal size in this brand. The waist had give, I could have sized down at least one size for sure. The Bottom, bum, hip area was very sung though. Which never happens to me since I am less than blessed in that area. It just fit weird. The waist was too big, the hips were too tight. I thought I may have just gotten a funky skirt, but according to other reviewers I guess not. Ohhh, but the design is great. I love the polka dots!! Love love love them. They are raised, velvety. In theory this is super cute, the proportions are just a bit off. Recommended for someone with very slim hips. December 28, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by I wanted to love this skirt. Am echoing other reviewers who found this to be well fitted for the size through the hips and thighs and too wide at the waist. - you can see that a belt wouldn't really work in this instance (I remembered to take some pictures this time) . I have 29" waist and 36" hips and tried the 28. Sizing down was too squeezy on my thighs and there was still gapping at the waist. I loved the length, color, pattern and soft feel of the skirt otherwise. January 27, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Can't move! This skirt! It's so adorable and I've been eyeing it ever since it arrived in store, but I finally tried it on and was a bit disappointed. The waist actually fits a bit loose (I went for the 29 based on some winter weight gain, but a 28 would've been better), but the rest of the skirt is SO. TIGHT. There's no way I'd be able to run from a fire in this thing. Since I'm shorter it falls below the knee on me, but the body of the skirt fits way too snugly through the bottom hem. If you're cool with not moving around and just standing and looking pretty, this skirt is the one for you—the material feels incredibly sturdy and about as flexible as it can get (but without the amount of give I'd personally like)! The only reason I'd recommend it is for ladies with much slimmer bottom-halves. Or for human mannequins. December 9, 2012
