Bowerbirds are songbirds who collect grass, twigs, and brightly colored odds and ends to build elaborate mate-attracting structures. Designer and author Sibella Court has always been a bit of a bowerbird herself, dedicated to collecting miscellany since the age of three, when she began collecting shells, sequins beads and ribbons. Court goes far and wide to add to her collections, enjoys arranging and rearranging the pieces and believes that collections are vital part of any home.
