Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy favorite This dress works for almost anything, from a baby shower to a workday to a quiet date night. The length and neckline are just modest enough (even on tall busty me) without looking dowdy. I have both this and the red version, and they're wardrobe staples for me. This one, with the mustard and brown flowers over the navy, is my favorite of the two. A couple of notes: I have a hard time with most Karen Walker dresses because the waist is always too high, but this one works. I actually sized down from my usual because the bust and hips are loose (it's only fitted through the shoulders and at the ribcage, where I'm quite small#. And unlike some reviewers, I actually like the polyester #it's fantastic when you travel a lot). February 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this style I had already bought the red version of this in store, on sale. It has become a staple in my work wardrobe. Saw this dress and the pattern was different enough that I could not pass it up. I agree that the fit up top is a little snug so I sized up one size. As a smaller chested person this gives me more structure in that area and cinches in just at the right spot to lengthen the look of my legs and give me a small waist look. I pair this dress with the Tracy Reese Yellow/Mustard Coat from 1-2 seasons ago and either boots or heels work great with this dress. I love that I'll be able to wear this any season which is a big plus where I live. December 30, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful print, hate the polyester I'm completely confused by Karen Walker's sizing. I usually wear 4-6, and I fit into a size 2 in a different dress by Walker. I couldn't begin to zip this dress up in a 4. I had to size up to a 6. I'm 5'6", 34B and a 28-inch waist. The dress fits snugly from the ribcage to the waist, and I'm a bit bigger at the ribcage than the waist, which may explain my fit issues. Overall, the print and cut are beautiful and very flattering. The dress, however, is made from a not-so-nice polyester. For the price, I'd expect better fabric and a garment that is lined. I will keep the dress because of the cute shape, but won't likely consider other items from this designer. December 10, 2012
