Rated 5 out of 5 by Truly unique jacket I just saw this jacket in my local anthro today and bought it on the spot! I dont normally do that but its a gift for me from my parents and it is so so beautiful. I have never seen or owned anything like it. Its stunning in person. Just from trying it on in the store I had already received several compliments! This one is truly a winner. Its thin enough to be able to layer things underneath it but thick enough to keep you warm. By the way I'm wearing an XS in the photos. Ive attached the way this jacket was displayed at my local anthro as well as what it looked like on me when I tried it on at the store. Im wearing a thin long sleeves sweater, summer's fog sweater to be exact, and a scarf. I had no problem with the fit of this jacket over my clothes. Its so beautiful I'm elated to own it! Also, since I'm only 5'2 this jacket looks longer on me than in the online photo, which I actually think makes it look better. Another reviewer said this was overwhelming for her petite body but I didn't find that to be the case. Yes the sleeves went over my knuckles, but in no way is that a deal breaker for me. Also the store display had the sleeves cuffed and it looked very nice. Trust me this item looks way more stunning in person than in the online photo!! I highly recommend. On a side note, since anthro is having their promotion where for every $100 you spend you get $25 off, I saved $50 on this baby! Such a score. December 14, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by I think this jacket has so much potential; I love soft jackets made of sweater/sweatshirt fabric, however, this particular piece has some fatal flaws. First of all, it's way too big for me in size XS (5'4" 115lbs), sleeves are too long (cover the knuckles) and the whole thing just looks like a tent. I think the XS may look better on someone who is closer to a size medium. The jacket on the model in the picture must be pinned in the back, because it looks like there is a waist line which there isn't (or maybe the dress she's wearing is giving it more structure)... The fabric is stretchy like a sweater; for my skin it is a little too itchy, but I am very sensitive to woolen fabrics. The knit is sort of crocheted, very pretty up close, and I like the colors, swirls of a muted lavender/blue and off white, pretty close to the photo. So, I am definitely returning it, but it may work on a taller person as an A-line jacket. December 11, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful but not for me I am very sadly returning this right now to the store. After finding they didn't have an xs in my local Anthropologie I had them order it for me. I anxiously awaited its arrival because it really is a gorgeous sweater and so comfortable but once it came and tried it on I was really let down. First off the buttons just wont stay straight, One side is higher than the other even with the interior button secured so that makes it look sloppy. I am 5'2" and wear an xs or 0 and this just looked too long and frumpy even with five inch heels. Like one other reviewer said they must have pinned it back on the model, there is just too much fabric. I'm sure it will work on larger sized gals but they really need a size P or XXS. Size Guide

How to Measure

Bust

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
