This is a beautiful sweater jacket - love the soft, rich dark blue faux fur with colorful embroidery and tassels. From the front this didn't look bad, but when I turned to the side, the way that it tied with the tassels on it made my belly protrude even more than it already does! Not a good look! I am typically a Size Large at Anthropologie; ordered this in a Large. Although the way it tied made it look like my stomach was sticking out, it was actually really big all over; especially in the shoulder/bust area. I would say that it definitely runs Large. I didn't think it was worth returning for a Medium to see if that would work better. I think this is probably best suited for someone tall.

I am in love with this coat! It fits my quirky style, that I like to think of as unique. The sleeves are a bit on the short side, but that's pretty apparent from the pictures, so I was ready for that. I am 5'7", 150 lbs. and I ordered a Medium. The coat is ridiculously warm for being unlined, so it's very cozy! It's very soft and does not shed its "fur" at all either. The knit stitching is so lovely also! If you are a fan of the hippie 70s, you'll love this coat as much as me. Be prepared to have people look at you like you're a bit crazy for wearing a fluffy blue coat, but don't worry, you're just unique and carefree, like me!

When I saw this jacket in the catalog, I thought it was sooo stunning, and then in the stores, I cannot believe what garbage this is. The catalog shot was lovely, with crocheted trim, and the one in stores has gross woven trim, with nasty finishing, a collar that has to fold weirdly because it can't sit right (it can't sit against the neck like in the catalog shot) the non-matching ties are pulling holes in the woven trim, unlike the crocheted chain ties in the catalog shot. The fur is cheaper and longer than the catalog shot, and the side slits are short and ill fitting along with the short and ill fitting sleeves. What happened Anthropologie? You took a beautiful idea (that obviously made it to the catalog) and decided to sell cheap junk instead. Your customers are smarter than this, we want to shell out our money to you for beautiful, unique feeling clothes, not cheap knock-offs of a great idea.
