Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Loved this when I saw it online, and there was a promotion being offered at the time so I ordered it in an XS. I am 4' 11" and weigh about 94 pounds, very petite and small boned. Usually the XS fits and I usually only buy petite sizing so I thought this would fit no problem. However, it was too small, too narrow in the shoulders and tight through the back. It is beautiful though, very well made, but I would order up a size and hope that the sleeves aren't too long, especially if you want to wear something other than a t-shirt under it. It's very form fitted as you can get a sense of by the picture of the model all buttoned up in it. I hope you have better luck with this than I did. December 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice jacket with some qualifications I loved the look of this jacket online, so I ordered it quickly after it went on sale. I'm still a fan but a little less so after trying it on. First, the back and shoulders run a little narrow, as a previous reviewer said. I typically wear a size 6 but sometimes order up in jackets and sweaters to allow for layering. I'm glad I ordered up for this one, because even the 8 is just a hair tight. At the same time, the arms are a little too long, and the sides are a little baggy under the arms. (I'm guessing someone with a bigger bust would fill the front out better than I (I'm a 34B), eliminating any bagginess.) That said, the back is gorgeous. It flairs just so and curves gracefully below the front. After some internal debate, I have decided to keep the jacket because the flaws are not exaggerated enough to ruin the look of the jacket, which overall is tailored such that it runs close to the body and curves with me. I also liked that it is lined in both the body and the sleeves. I probably would not have kept it if I had paid full price, but the sale price is a good value for this unique jacket. Rated 4 out of 5 by Do Not REed Reviews! I read that this jacket runs one size or more small. I also read that with the pink fabric lining you can't count on stretch or give. Going on this, I ordered a 6. I am a 4P and and 5'2"and a 32B. The jacket is beautiful, front and back, especially the back with the detailing. However, on me it looked nothing like the model. First of all, the ivory is not as light as the online photo. It is light gray. Secondly, the bottom of the jacket came below my hip bones and not anywhere near the waist band of jeans as on the model. I had to turn the sleeves up once. Lastly, I had fullness in the back of the jacket. I really think that I can wear a 2 in this jacket, in spite of the reviews. Either the model has the jacket pinned in the back or my jacket was cut boxy. I am sorry that I read the reviews and based my sizing choice on them. January 5, 2013
