I always look through the lounge wear in Anthro for soft, comfy basics that can be worn around the house or out. This sweet basic really does fit that description. For reference, I am a 34D, have broad shoulders, and so I take a medium or large in close-fitting, knit tops. I am shorter, so the cami does come to my low hip, but because of the fabric's structure it is okay.
I purchased a large in this one, and it is just slightly roomy. For me, I prefer a knit that doesn't hug me, so this one works in a large. The fabric is super soft, but it is substantial enough to be worn out of the house without looking like you are wearing pj's. The grey is exactly as is pictured. There is a shelf bra inside, too. I can imagine wearing this with or without a sweater or other layering piece any time of the year.

This top is similar in cut to the reversible seamless tank and a great layering piece. I love the lace detail, and that it is not see through. It is perfect for under a cardigan. I am usually a small in the reversible seamless tank I often do mediums for the length. I was able to do my regular small in this.

I cannot classify this as a "camisole," with its wide straps and longer body. It's a pretty top. Close-fitting. I received another Eloise top the same day, the "enchanted lace pullover," in a small. That one is roomy and this, in a medium, is none too large.
The straps in the back cut in significantly and make wearing a regular bra impossible; would require a racerback.
Still in no way is this a "camisole" which to me denotes underwear or underlayer. I would call it a cute summer tank. It is fully lined and has no sheerness whatsoever.
