Rated 5 out of 5 by 100% Heavy Weight Cotton Great dress. This is a heavy weight cotton that can be machine washed. I air dried mine but I think you can dry it, just not sure I would because I don't want it any shorter. While the cut is a bit boxy, notice in the model shot how it cuts in at the bust giving her shape? Well, any movement at all does wonders at providing a bit of an a-line from the bust. Only when you are standing completely still with your hands not moving will this dress look boxy. I move a lot so this dress has all the shape its needs. I got tons of compliments the first time I wore it with boots (not booties, not knee high, but somewhere in the middle). It looks great with long cut cardigans and also with a cropped knit blazer. I got the white one which I don't see online. It has neon pink buttons for a bit of interest at one shoulder. This dress also looks fantastic with a statement necklace; I found modern geometric shapes worked best with this dress. Love it for the price; the quality is there and it will work three seasons. Rated 4 out of 5 by Cute, but not comfortable. Tried this on in the store in the navy XS. I'm 5'4" and 125lbs with an hourglass figure. The dress hit a few inches above the knee and flattered my legs, but it was just too boxy and my figure got lost in it. If it had shown off my waist a little more, it would have been perfect. Definitely size down in this. If you're looking to conceal your midsection this will be great for you (wish it had been around after I had my son last year). The fabric is like a thick, stiff sweatshirt material and I didn't find it to be that comfortable as the inside was rougher than I would have liked. If the fabric had been softer, it might have come home with me despite the less than perfect fit. Seems like it would be a little hot, too, which limits when you can wear it. Cute, but I wasn't in love. I will say that the navy was the best choice for a fair skinned blonde like me - the cream would be better on someone with a darker complexion ( it washed me out). Sigh, it would have been the perfect dress to just throw on and go. September 20, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not what I was hoping for I received this dress with high expectations, but unfortunately I'm going to have to send it back. I'm almost 5'4, 115 lbs, 34b and this dress was HUGE. I ordered a S since that's what I normally wear in Anthro clothing. It definitely did not fit like shown on the model. XS may work, but figured I wouldn't take my chances. October 18, 2012

Size Guide

How to Measure

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
