This dress is awesome. The pleating detail and asymentrical buttons make what could have been a dowdy dress into something special. I'm 5' 8" and the dress came to approximately 2" above my knee - not too short at all! I'm usually a 6 or 8 in Anthro dresses and went with the 8 due to the shoulders, which is usually the case with any Anthro dress I buy with sleeves. Apart from the shoulders, the 6 fit great. I paired it with black nylons and shoes and it looks very chic. The only reason I gave this dress 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's Dry Clean Only. I absolutely love the style of this dress!

I was nervous when I bought this that I'd look like I escaped in the middle of a hair appointment but I am glad to say I love this dress. Every time I wear it I get compliments. My favorite part is the back which is slightly fitted to give a suggestion of your figure in a high fashion creative way. Paired with the front it makes for an edgier piece that looks terrific with boots, heels or opaque tights and ankle shoes. Another bonus, you can chose to wear it unbuttoned at the top or connect it giving it the feel of a mandarin collar. Lastly it's always fun to have a dress that just snaps off with no fussing on zippers or buttons.

I was so sad when I received this dress in the mail. I was so very excited by the picture. The color and print are beautiful. The cut and the material quality leave something to be desired. The polyester looks very leisure suit-esque, too. The dress looks more like something you picked up at Forever 21 than something you dropped $200 on.
For me the dress was tight in the shoulders and voluminous everywhere else. I'm 5'3" and it hit just above the knee. This dress is most definitely for ladies with narrow shoulders and curvier hips. I'm the opposite- broad shoulders and straight, so the dress will be going back.
Also, the color is a lot weirder in person than in the picture.
