Rated 3 out of 5 by Cute but confused on the inside of the shoe So I was somewhat confused with these shoes. Although I loved the look of them and they seem to be really nice, the insides of the shoes I got were sorta bumpy or malformed? Maybe I just got bad shoes, but when I put my feet into both shoes, down towards the tip of the shoe the lining or something was folded up rather than tucked in the seams of the shoe and just made it awkward. Almost like the inner lining wasn't folded down and just left to get in the way of your toes. So I sent them back. Would have kept them otherwise... November 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by So solid yet not clunky I fear I can't wear heels. I tend to be that clumsy girl who walks awkwardly in them, and who ends up wanting to be shoeless at the end of the night, who might even trip or fall off a really high heel. This is not helped by the fact that I am usually hoofing it when we go out, and that I live at the top of a hill with bad sidewalks. But these shoes win because, despite their 4 inch heel, they are solid enough that I can handle that hill and the tree-root broken sidewalks just fine. They are cushioned enough in the toe box that I don't end up with cramping or discomfort, and the platform below the toe reduces the angle from the heel to the point that I can walk like my normal self. The brown sole is almost clunky, and almost reminiscent of shoes I had of this style circa 1996, made by Candy's. However, these aren't that mid-90s clomper, they remain elegant and immensely wearable. I like the brown sole because it opens up the ability to mix neutrals with this shoe. Clark's are known for comfort, and up to this point, I have remained skeptical. No more. I am won over. These are in no way old lady shoes. They actually don't look that comfortable. But that's the thing: they are. Now that I've adopted Clark's, I just hope they keep boosting their design to this elegant, on-trend level. November 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by comfortable heels, go with everything I love these shoes. They are the most comfortable heel that I have found yet and they go with dresses, jeans, and minis and they always look great. I have a similar pair of shoes for which I paid $50 more and I prefer these shoes. There is elastic in the front so you can slip them on and off easily but it is not very noticeable. I wear these shoes all day and my feet feel fine at the end of the day. Well worth the money. January 20, 2013
