Rated 5 out of 5Â by Sunflowersummer Beautiful twist on a classic tank
I just bought this at my local Anthro, and I love it! In the picture, the top looks black, but it is definitely navy in person. The shirt is made of a super soft tee fabric, and the lace sits/is sewn on top. I found that this top ran large. I'm busty, so I typically opt for a size small but wound up purchasing the x-small in this top. The shirt runs long. I found that the small hit me about where it does on the model, maybe a few inches below, and I'm 5'4''. Hope that helps! It really is a beautiful top and easy to wear. You'll definitely need a strapless bra for this.

This top caught my eye immediately online, but upon arrival, I was afraid that I would snag the lace just taking it out of the bag. The colors are as depicted on the website.
Pros: 1) lace is beautiful and sewn onto the tank
2) the contrast between the navy blue and the black is beautiful
3) the length is versatile - you wear this with jeans, tights, pencil skirts
4) the material is soft
Cons: 1) what is UP WITH THE SEE THROUGH TOPS? (sorry, I had to vent) You can still see through black tank, especially the chest (you can tell in the first website photo). Because I'm busty and since it's cut a little low, the see through tank exposes more. I wish I can tug the tank part up, but because of the design of the top (and that the lace is sewn on), you can't.
2) the lace seems very delicate and fragile. I feel that I had to be extra careful just putting it on and taking it off, and I can't be that careful wearing it all day.
Personally, I think the top really works for slim girls so the chest area isn't as exposed (like the model in the photos). This could work for anyone who really wants a feminine look, but I just didn't want to deal with the fragility of the lace and watching my every move so I don't snag it. Otherwise, it's such a beautiful top.

I tried this on at the store today. I grabbed a xs (32A-25) and it FTS. I'm 5'2" and it covered my backside welll. The lace felt a bit rough and the navy wasn't as pretty as I was hoping for. The underlayer part felt nice and soft on my skin but felt like a lesser quality t-shirt material. I had a strapless bra on and that worked fine. What bothered me was how the lace curls up on the edges. If you look at the photos closely, you can see them doing that. Because of that, when I looked at myself from the side, the lace edges stuck out making them look like they were unraveling and falling apart. I wondered if I can iron them down flat but I didn't want to have to iron it everytime I laundered it. The design is great but the quality/execution is not there. Back on the rack! I won't even pick it up when it goes on sale.
