I really love this skirt. The pattern is so fun and unique. It's definitely bold, but I don't think it's over the top, especially since the cut is pretty classic and fabric is good quality. It is a little tight through the hips. I usually wear an 8 or a 10 and have the 10 on in the photo. It s bit loose in the waist but I don't think I could have gone smaller because of the hips (pretty standard problem with pencil skirts for curvy girls).
In the end I felt like it was a bit expensive and would probably end up going on sale given that it's pretty loud and I doubt something that the average anthro customer would reach for. If it does go on sale I will definitely be purchasing this skirt.

Perfect fit on me ... (168cms tall, 69 kilos, sorry can't do the pounds conversion). Nervous about ordering skirts on line because the fit can be tricky but it slipped on me like a dream. The colours are really vibrant and I like that it's floral without being too flowery... the spots pull it back a bit from the brink of too girly. The fabric is a polyester of some sort I think so it may cling a bit in very dry air but it's so humid here in Sydney I don't think it'll be a problem. Easy to wear it with whites, violets or pinks on top. Dress it up or down, I think it'll be a versatile skirt for years to come.

I tried this on in-store several weeks ago and decided not to buy it. Then I couldn't stop thinking about it, and couldn't stop coming across things in my closet that would go well with it. Love the mix of prints, and the quality is great: lined and silky and drapey and lovely. When I finally ordered it online (for sale!), they were out of the 8 I'd tried on. Remembering it as plenty roomy, I ordered the 6 and I'm glad I did. It sits an inch or so below my natural waist. I'm looking forward to wearing it with tights and boots and a simple top. I think it could go springy or wintery, actually, particularly here in Arizona.
