This dress just looked awful on me. It wasn't as form-fitting as pictured on the model. Instead, it hung very loose, and actually made me look really tubby. The heavy knit pulls the dress down and makes it sag. The only solution would, perhaps, be to get a size smaller so that it fits very snugly; but then that knit material will hug every lump and bump.
I strongly suggest going to the store and trying this one on in person. Size matters 100% with this dress. Also, details like those side buttons look very different in person than on the website, and may not be to everyone's liking. I thought they looked cheap :(
Sending it back. sigh...

I am really pleased with the style and fit of this dress. Since I am 5' 10 the waist comes slightly above my natural waist and 2-3 inches above my knee. The color is stunning - a vibrant, true red with NO orange tones. If it was a MAC lipstick it would be Russian Red. I have a rad time wearing red near my face as a paley-paleton but this shade is very flattering. The fabric is a little stretchy and structured enough that it holds a shape and does not fall limp. One thing I noticed is that I will have to find a totaly seamless bra - the gapbody t-shirt bra I was wearing to try it on showed evey lump and bump in back, though dress is not too tight in the bust. I am a 38b, 29 waist, 39 hip and the 8 fits great.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by ShopDC The fit is wonderful.
I was so excited about this dress. It fit really well. Also, it is a very versatile dress that one can wear year round.
However, I have been paying close attention to the fabrics of the Anthropologie clothing. The store is increasingly relying on polyester. I believe It is unacceptable and even deceptive to charge customers $158 for a polyester dress. Seriously!!!!
