Rated 4 out of 5 by GraceAnne Stunning fixture, horrible ordering process
This chandelier is beautiful. We just had it installed and have already received a lot of compliments on it. We hung it over our dining table and it provides a beautiful soft light and great ambiance. It is not really bright as there is only one bulb in the fixture. I think we might have to install some recessed lights or bring in a lamp when I need to use the dining table for sewing or other projects, but it's perfect for dinner or conversation around the table. It makes the room!
It is big. We have 9 foot ceilings and I don't think it would work with a lower ceiling height. As big as it is, though, it's not too imposing. It feels perfect for the space. We really love it.
That being said, the ordering & delivery process was horrible. I ordered the chandelier the first week of January and we didn't receive it until May. When I placed the order, it was supposedly on backorder until mid-January, but it was further delayed 3 times (to late March) with only one email from Anthropologie in February telling me about the delay. I got an email saying it was on its way in late March but didn't actually receive the fixture until early May. I wish I could give the fixture 5 stars & Anthropologie's customer service zero. To their credit, they did waive the shipping charge but only after several frustrating conversations with representatives who were less than helpful or apologetic for the delays.
