Natural World Dessert Plate

Rated 4 out of 5 by so pretty, I have the whole set of "Natural World Dessert Plates". Each plate has it's own unique details, but as a set they play together veeeery nicely. The quality is good (not hand painted), but it gives it a kind of ''look'' and ''feel'' that suites the designs and colors sublimely. On a matter of manufacturing, and perhaps this is just a personal bias, but for $18/plate, I would hope it could not be make in China. That being said, the quality of the plates is excellent, and I hope Anthropologie (and the designer) are supporting fair practices. December 6, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Stencil Off-center My husband is a bee keeper so I bought him the bee plate for Christmas. He loved the idea of it but it is such a poor quality plate. The stencil of the bee is very off center. Way too far off center to even be a design element. It just looks hastily made. Unfortunately, I will be returning it as it is not worth the price. I would buy it again if I knew the bee would be more centered. December 30, 2013

GIRAFFE Style #:073194 Artist Lou Rota was drawn to the beauty of the natural world long before she took the wheel - the pottery wheel, that is. Her passion for entomology was piqued during the early days of her career, which were spent producing science and natural history documentaries. Today, from her West London studio, Rota designs the whimsical bugs, flowers and birds that grace her fine bone china. This set's vintage-inspired curves exhibit a biologist's dream assortment.
