by JAgee Great shape/comfort - Tarnished though
I purchased the "gold" version of these very charming booties. Gold is an extreme stretch - Burnished gold would even a stretch. These are more like a cross between copper and brass, not as pretty and bright as the picture led me to believe. Shape is great, they are comfortable, but I was looking for gold, and believed the picture. Also have to untie to get on and off, which on shoes with this kind of finish, I worry they will start to etch off the metallic color. This is the ONLY time I've been disappointed with a pair of shoes I've gotten from Anthropologie. I'm getting second opinions before I decide to send back.

Full price new shoes shipped to me in a bag!!!!! The "store" apparently wrapped them in tissue and threw them into a shipping envelope. I was so excited to receive these cute shoes which would add a little zip to the fall clothing.
Needless to say I'm sure the shipping package dampened my mood......when I put the shoes on the ball of my foot started to hurt after only 5 minutes. The quality is average at best, not the typical Anthro super duper quality I guess I will need to stay with brands Like Miss A that I know what I will receive. If you still want to try them, they are pretty TTS, where the dot fabric meets with the suade there is a seam which rubs against your foot.
All in all, they may fit you, but they are going back

I was rather surprised to see some negative reviews on these shoes- I purchased them in gold a few weeks ago and wear them every chance I get. I suppose the color is not totally in-your-face shimmering gold, but it's still noticeably gold. I've received numerous compliments for the color. Anyway, the side-tied detail is super cute and unique and they are extremely comfortable to wear all day and night! Will definitely be wearing them for New Year's eve!
I usually wear a size 8 and they fit TTS for me. However, the only con is they are a total pain to slip on! They are obviously not the type of shoe that one would unlace to put on, and the material is not particularly flexible. Takes a few minutes to slide my feet into them, but they slide off much easier.
