I bought this dress to wear for my shower. I am 20 weeks/5months in the photo provided. This dress is not as fitted as the styled catalog image. I think the standard image without the belt is more accurate for the volume of fabric that is in the top. I ordered a petite small, my usual, and it fit me and my bump very well. If I wasn't pregnant I likely would have sized down to petite XS.
This is a beautiful, quality dress. The lining runs the length of the dress and is a quality silky material. Not a rough polyester. I do think this dress needs to be styled with a belt, it wouldn't be as fitted without it.
For me it was worth every penny.

I tried this dress on today and it is really quite pretty. The dress needs a belt otherwise it is a little too frumpy. Very comfortable and would be great for a summer party or wedding.
The dress runs a little Large. I normally wear a large and went ahead and purchased the large but I feel like I am a bit in-between.

So I have been keeping my eye on this dress for a while to see from reviews whether it was worth the money. I have now tried it on and I will tell you... I'm not totally sure.
Here is what I know, it is a greecian goddess type dress. Flows beautifully, is delicate and has a lovely print. It is true to size in the way that you could probably get away with any size because it is draped, however the parts that get bigger are the arm holes and the amount of bagginess in the top half so it just looks a tad more chic when it fits. So my suggestion is get your normal shirt size, the skirt will have enough room even if you are bottom heavy.
NOW to the reason why I am still going back and forth about this dress and have yet to actually bring it home with me. THE COLOR, the price, and the need for the belt in the picture or something similar. SO I really don't need to get into the price, if this was cheaper it would be in my closet this second, however, since it is very specific occasions that you can wear a greecian goddess, delicate number like this, I have yet to decide whether it is entirely worth it.
This would be even less of an issue if I did not have to include the price of the belt. Do not be fooled, this dress MUST have a belt to make it look finished (just look at the difference between the two models) and that belt must be light and delicate and matching the aesthetic of this dress or suddenly the magic is gone. Already have a intricate belt from anthro? It may not cut it, I tried it on with several of the offered belts in the store ALL were too heavy or too dark or too something.
FINALLY, and the main reason I currently don't have this dress is the base color of the dress. It is not as pink and pure as in the picture it is a kind of peach... the kind of peach that exactly matches your skin. Now, granted, I did not have makeup on when I tried this on so I am fairly certain I could rock it anyway, and the print makes it look like you probably didn't skin all your friends and wear them to Easter, BUT it is a hard color for anyone who is not glow in the dark white or a deep brown. The color is much truer to the second model (sans belt) than the gorgeous greenhouse one. That being said.... I am probably going to break down and buy this dress in about the time it takes me to find my credit card....
