What a giant waste of time and energy this was. I was so excited when my rug arrived - I have spent hours upon hours searching for one and I thought I had finally found the perfect one. While the design is beautiful, you can hardly call it a "rug". Other reviewers call it "thin" but that is terribly misleading. You might as well find a heavy blanket you love and throw it on the floor before you order this because that's basically what it is. To emphasize my point I attached an image of it folded up - most real rugs need to be rolled because they have a degree of sturdiness to them - after all you're supposed to be walking around on it. Not this one - I can scrunch it up in my toes like a blanket, fold it like a blanket and actually pick it up off the floor and use it for a blanket if I get cold. Also blankets are MUCH cheaper. Do not make the mistake I did by listening to the other reviewers. I wanted to believe them. Returning immediately.

I have several Anthro rugs and love them. I recently purchased this one for my studio and it's just perfect. One review said it was too think, like a blanket, but if you've ever purchased a crewel work rug before, you know that they run thin. A rug pad keeps it in place nicely.

I had been looking for a rug with the perfect pattern, which took some time, but I finally did! If you're looking for an area rug that will be a focal point and/or will tie other colors of a room together, this is a great choice. I planned my entire living room around this rug in 8X10. Like the other reviews said, it is THIN, but in my opinion that's a plus. On hardwood floors, with a medium-thick rug pad, this blends perfectly without adding bulk and being tripped over. The rug pad is essential though, the rug will not really function without it. Also, keep in mind that the colors on the rug are a little brighter when you first get it, but of course they will mute over time if that is what you're looking for.
