Rated 3 out of 5 by bust is a little too overhanging This is a beautifully constructed dress that is soft and flowing and easy to get on. However, I agree with other reviewers on the "billowy" factor. I don't have very much bust and, while that definitely may be a huge contributing factor, I found that this dress made my chest look a little awkward. TTS July 11, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Frumpy looking Where to begin... FIt: TTS (10-12 and M usually, ended up getting a M) Length, it ended right above the knee (i'm 5'7''), so it's a great length for me personally. The cinched part of the dress, ended almost right below my bust line. I could pull it down, but it seemed to gravitate up - even with a belt. Sleeves were not tight but somehow the neckline wouldn't stay straight down the middle and seemed almost like the U was skewed.. perhaps it's because of the fabric. Fabric: Nice quality and with lining. Dress was a little heavy - due to the pleating - and because of the fabric - polyester, which doesn't breath well - I could totally see it being a little warm to wear for a SoCal summer. The way the fabric is, of course depending on the light, the colors aren't as pale as in this photo but almost neon.. Overall: I imagine this dress only good for someone who has more a straight figure and need more along the bust line. The dress is pleated all the way from top to bottom. Pleating is great for someone who needs to add bulk - which is something I don't need. I have wide shoulders and am a 38C and it was too much on me. Not to mention, I'm also an hour glass figure - with a short torso and long legs. This dress adds more to my curves than I want - due to the pleating - and because of the placing of the waist line, it makes my torso look even shorter. Design wise, I feel like it makes me look older July 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty I normally wear an xs (5'3 110 lbs) but I ordered this in an xsp and an xs based on other reviewers saying it was a bit big. The xsp I received has a waist about 2 inches wider than the xs which makes it fit a bit bulky in the top. I normally wear an xs from anthro and I'd say this xs could definitely be worn by someone who normally wears a small. It is a flattering cut but I can't decide if it's just right to keep since the xsp is the right length for me but the waist of the xs is better. Hmm. Hope this helps someone determine the size to order for their body type. Also, the colors are more vibrant in person. June 9, 2014
