Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovely Lana Dress I purchased a size 12. Love this dress, but it puckers out in the back where the blouse portion meets the waistline. The size 12 (when laying flat) measures 21 1/2" across, which is 43" for the lower hip area. It has a bit of stretch too, thus allowing 1 more inch. So it'll fit up to a 44" hip. The chest area fell low cut on my 40" chest #36DD or 38D#. As for the waist: I'm 31 1/2", the dress measures 35"! It needs to be taken in because that's why it puckered in the back there. I also had to adjust the dress often, because it tended to slide slightly to the right. The bottom is completely lined- no slip needed. The top has a half slip that you see exposed in the middle, which is attached at the waist and buttons up. All and all, I'm keeping this dress. I'll fix the waist by added darts in the problem area. Thank God I'm a bit of a seamstress that's able to fix the problem! Sowing ladies get out your machine! April 29, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by A pass for me I have a couple of other dresses by the same designer that I also bought at Anthro and I love them. I did not like this dress. There is not a zipper and I found it difficult to get on and off. The front is a button closure are fussy to get undone. There is also an under piece that has spaghetti straps that is also buttoned and difficult to undo. The skirt portion was a little stiff. The quality is good but the fact that it took a lot of effort to get on and off made me return this dress. I have not given up on this designer though. June 2, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Stunning first impression...but it stops there... I absolutely fell in love with everything about this dress and had plans to wear it to my daughter's wedding. Unfortunately, wearing it made me feel like "Mrs. Doubtfire". I was so disappointed and asked my slim 18 year old leggy niece to try on the dress. Her build isn't too far off from this model's build and when we saw how it just made her look like a younger version of Mrs. Doubtfire, we both agreed this one needed to go back to the store despite its beautiful design and quality. Too bad. Beautiful dress. August 16, 2014
