by JustErin Cute Fall Jacket, Loose Fit
This is a cute fall jacket - good for mild days (high forties / fifties). I love the cord material and the pattern is interesting, without being too crazy/busy. The lining is silver and there is a small interior pocket - beside the two front pockets (see photo).
I can't tell if it is how the model is standing or if the coat is actually different - but I found this to be a very loose - more of a shift shape coat with a straight loose fit. If you're looking for something more fitted - this isn't it.
Fit: I am normally an 8/10 in coats - this was the 8 and it was quite roomy everywhere. I have larger shoulders and arms and had no fit issues with either in this coat. My inclination is to say size down for most, or if you're in between to take the smaller of the two sizes.

I saw this today unexpectedly while I was shopping for blouses and dresses and couldn't pass it up. The pattern is gorgeous; very antique and vintage looking. So versatile; I threw it on over a pencil skirt and it brought my outfit to life. You can dress it up over a dressy black dress or wear it casually over jeans or pants. I was really impressed. The material is a good quality cotton with a substantial cotton lining; perfect for fall weather. It felt true to size under the arms, the sleeves were a tad long, but not overwhelmingly so. I did order the petite for the sake of comparison as there is a lot of fabric in the back. However, if you layer the jacket over other clothes, the regular may be preferable to the petite size. Try it on; you won't be disappointed!

I had seen this jacket online and just LOVED it. Love the print, love that it's corduroy! The problem with this piece is that it's SO big! I'm normally a 6-8 in jackets and I had heard that this runs big...grabbed a 4 and I was swimming in it! If this was tailored a bit more...or simply an A-line, it would be love and it would have come home with me. Unfortunately, it was boxy without much shape. It didn't appear that the back buttons could be adjusted either. Although I didn't have time to grab a 0 or 2, I might still try those to see if it fits better. The length in the model shot is about right. I'm 5'5", 135lbs and a 34D.
