Handpainted Naranjito Top

Rated 4 out of 5 by Unusual and flattering Lucky me....someone returned my size to my local store and I snapped it up! The Goods - really unusual pattern, looks so much more vibrant and interesting in person than in photos. Has a relaxed, easy fit that isn't too straight or too a-line. Pretty flattering for a variety of different shapes. It's also incredibly versatile. I've worn it with cut off denim shorts to a park festival and with a pencil skirt and jacket to a garden wedding. Sleeves are more cap-style than I think the photo makes it seem like. The fit is floaty and loose. That said, you could definitely size up if you're on the bustier or tummier side. Because it seems to have a proportional fit in the neck and shoulders, you will still have a good proportion there that won't make you look like you're wearing a maternity top. The Bads - I have found that the stitching on the hem and under the arm is kind of messy/uneven and I'm not sure if it's going to unravel or not. I feel like at this price point, it should be made so well that I don't have to worry about that happening. Also, you may find yourself craving citrus fruit every time you look in the mirror. The Bottom Line - A great little top, very summery, very interesting and very versatile. Flattering and cute but somewhat limited for larger sizes or bustier beauties. Slightly questionable seams/quality. June 8, 2013
