We bought the Fruiteria Lamp in color orange to go together with the Plumage Shade in color Navy, size L. Bought the lamp first then picked up the lampshade from the store! I am glad they turn out looking beautiful together. I like the this lamp because it is modern, simple and so you can go a bit creative and fancy with the lamp shades. I am glad it does not steal the charm away from the Plumage Shade which I love! They look good together and they go with my green wall...almost green everything in the room!
One flaw, I can see the lamp leaning one side, not severely but from a distant I can't tell and so it does not bother me! You might have fight a bit to have the lampshade sits straight though and I was able to do so! And I am happy....

GIVING 3 STARS only because I liked the coloring and design of this base. I've had this lamp for a quite a few YEARS now and absolutely LOVED, LOVED it till recently I noticed that there were flecks of orange paint laying on my nighttable!! That's right - ORANGE PAINT! I had NO idea that that the glass globes on this lamp are treated with paint. I thought the globes were blown colored glass. NOT SO!! Underneath the orange globe is a clear white globe. One would think that for the exuberant price of this base - colored blown glass would have been used. Anyways - When cleaning, I suggest wiping with water ONLY! (I must have used a glass cleaner at some point...) DISAPPOINTING. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought two of the orange color for our nightstands. Wish they were not so pricey but I will be keeping these forever! I have not found anywhere else lamps that look like these and when people come over they notice them right away. When they are turned on they look even prettier. Very well made, my only suggestion would be to make sure the rod that runs through the lamp is straight otherwise the lamp leans and there is no way to straighten it out.
