Rated 5 out of 5 by Underwhelming online, Flattering on. I was really underwhelmed when I saw this online. I didn't even remember that I'd seen it online when I decided to try it on in the store. I really liked the way it looked on and thought that the way they styled the model above did not do the skirt justice. I wore it higher for a high waisted fit, giving it kind of a 40s flair. I think the skirt is really unique and interesting. I haven't yet worn it for an extended period of time, but see what the earlier reviewer was talking about with some potential fit issues. I'm willing to brave it because this skirt sucks in my waist and makes it look tighter. My husband appreciated the skirt as well. So if it has his stamp of approval, I'm good. I'm 5'1'', 105 lbs. and Anthro clothes are generally pretty big on me unless they're petite. Since I wore the skirt higher, it wasn't necessary to get the petite size. The skirt will certainly hide things because of the thick material and I would try it on if you have a chance even though it's not so exciting online. November 13, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by More beautiful in reality than online The design of the skirt is really nice. Love the fabric, it is made of bandages like Herve Leger but relatively thicker which works great for holding things in. I'm usually 6 -8 in size and the M fit perfect. The only drawback in that skirt that I found while trying it in the store is that the bandages are sewn together at the very edge of the fabric, the one I tried had a hole in between 2 layers so price was reduced to $99, not so sure how the fabric would hold on after a few times (maybe hang on to receipt in case u need to return!!!). This is the only reason I gave it 3 otherwise beautiful skirt. December 2, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor design I fell in love with the skirt, and tried it in bot XS and S. The skirt is absolutely gorgeous. However, beware of the look it has once you start walking. Because it is constructed of heavy and stretchy bands of fabric that overlap (a bit like Hervé Leger bandage dresses), it puckered in the front in the most unfortunate way when I tried walking in it. I had to forgo buying it, but I am sad I had to. This odd effect distracts from the beauty of the skirt and it is a ashame November 10, 2013
