Our hothouse quilts are a labor of love - after all, each one takes takes 72 hours, 60 hands, 13 different processes and countless colors to create. This fluorescent-splattered quilt, highlighted with hand-dyed paint strokes, was created by the Brooklyn collective Fort Makers which consists of artists Nana Spears, Naomi Clark and Noah James Spencer. Together, they explore their individual curiosities, build upon their fine-art backgrounds and produce handmade beauties.
