Rated 5 out of 5 by I like big Bows and I cannot lie. Um, this dress is like whoa. It looked absolutely FABULOUS on and I got tons of compliments! The one thing I would change is that it's cut a little too low under the arms, so my sticky boobs showed in a couple of pictures. Other than that, this dress is phenomenal. I definitely recommend going smaller if you are smaller on top. I usually wear a 2 or 4 in dresses and ordered a 0 petite which was exactly the size I needed. If you want to stand out, get this dress! January 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A great look but needs altering I too loved this dress at first sight. It's a great three-season party look. But when it arrived, it was too big overall, but especially in the top. I ordered a 2 and probably should have gone smaller. But I am short-waisted and the problem seems mostly to be that the bust-line sits too low. I have had this with other dresses in the past and perhaps a petite would have remedied the situation. As I don't live in the U.S., the cost of returning is high so I have opted to have it altered, lifting the bodice up and a few tucks here and there. I have also moved the bow to the side. Rated 4 out of 5 Awkward Fit I wanted to love this dress, I really did, but the fit was way off for me. My store only had petites, so after trying on the dress in the petite sizes, all of the sales girls recommended I order the 10. The waist fit on the 10, but the top half was falling off it was so big. I'm a 34DDD, so you could imagine my surprise when something was actually too big on my bust. I didn't bother in ordering the 8, I knew the waist would be too small if I went down a size. I could have gotten the 10 tailored, but didn't feel like fishing out an extra $50 on an already pretty expensive dress. I usually wear an 8 or 10 depending on the fit/design, so if you're generally on the fence like I am, order the smaller size. November 11, 2013
