Adelaide Sweater

Rated 5 out of 5 by Well executed design The color and weight of the yarn used and the construct of the sweater fully show off the design. The lines are fluid, slimming and feminine. The front of the sweater is adorned with a mesh/lacy intricate reverse triangle inset delineated by tiny pompon trimming and a gradual cascade panel of crochet. The reverse triangle inset and the crochet panel are placed and shaped to provide maximum slimming effect. The braided knit at back is twisted at the right place to provide the same slimming effect. The yarn has some weight to it but not weighty. The types of crochet used and placed throughout the sweater give the sweater an airy and attractive look. Size wise, it's TTS to small. I am usually XS in Anthro top with plenty of room around the chest to spare. This sweater fits well (not tight) around chest and with room for a thin cami if desired. Therefore, it might be more fitted for better endowed ladies. The front/lacy inset might be too revealing for some ladies' taste, I am flat chested and a nude bra works just fine. August 8, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Unfortunately not flattering for all body types I tried this on in my local store, and I didn't like it at all. I think maybe for flat chested women this will look better. I am petite, but I still have some curves, and I found this design to be very unflattering. It was tight at the top, difficult to get my head through and very wide at the bottom, the color washed out the color of my skin. Well, I think with the right body type and right skin tone, it could look nice-it looks nice in the photo! Just put it on before you do your hair! August 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Feminine, Flattering, Nice Quality I love the design of this sweater, but almost didn't try it on because I wasn't sure the color would be good on me. To my surprise it was very pretty on! Love the lace yoke and the lines of the sweater. Super flattering in front and back! I love anything with lace (and I'm super picky about the quality of it), and just adore the combination of lace and sweater. Runs a tad small (mostly in the arms for me). I usually take a small or medium in sweaters and had to go with the medium in this. August 18, 2013

BEIGE Style #:28683530 We're inspired by pieces that are both classically romantic and a bit eccentric, at once feminine and edgy. This sweater's delicate crochet bib calls for a super-sweet ladylike look; try it with a full skirt and ballerina flats. Adelaide Sweater
