Rated 2 out of 5 by Sadly sending it back I read the reviews, about this quilt falling apart but decided to try it anyhow. I am afraid they were right. It is perfect color and style and VERY soft and comfortable. But the first week I had to sew up a seam, then the second week I had to sew up another one. I thought I could keep up, but now, the 4th week there are too many seams to sew up and last night I found a tear in the fabric. So not only are the seams weak, the fabric is like tissue paper and will not with stand regular use (nightly sleeping, lying on top to watch a movie). I think it would work for a guest bed but not for everyday use. I am a visual person and not very practical so for me to want to send something so lovely back speaks volumes. I would like to tell Anthropology that I would gladly buy this quilt again if they could improve the workmanship - better thread and stronger fabric. May 16, 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad quality Bought this comforter for my daughter and it fell apart within a week! All she did was sleep with it! WIthin a week there were several holes in it. Her roommate bought a similar one from Anthro and it too fell apart! Whoever is the manufactuer has done a poor job. I wouldn't buy anthing from this line. All of it is cheaply made. WIll find another store to spend my big bucks at from now on. September 7, 2009
Rated 1 out of 5 by What a waste! This comforter looks gorgeous in the pictures. My husband and I excitedly awaited it's arrival and were happy with the way it looked and felt on our bed. However, it is already falling apart and the batting on the inside of the quilt has already started bunching up leaving areas where there is no thickness left to the quilt and there are holes where the sewing was not done attentively. What a waste of money. It is beyond my comprehension why such garbage would be offered by what appears to be a wonderful company... and the price tag attached to it is heinous! Do yourself a favor, do not buy this quilt. September 22, 2009
