Rated 5 out of 5Â by trinibambini great gift idea!
These coasters are an awesome gift idea. You can buy them individually for $8 in the store, or as in a set of 4 online for $32. They look really nice, and I've seem similar ceramic and glass coasters for over +$12 each.
I really liked the green in person, so I bought a few as gifts for my friends. I'm debating about getting a set for myself as they are classy and funky looking at the same time. Each glaze looks different, so they have a one of a kind feel, that's what makes them so unique!
FYI: The semi-porous surface of the glass absorbs liquids, while the non-porous ceramic base remains dry. So this one of the reasons that this glass and ceramic make them excellent coasters.
The last added bonus is that they are made in the USA!

Rated 2 out of 5Â by cain pretty but color different than what appears onlin
they are beautiful but i ordered the pumpkin and online the additional color looks blue and when they arrived it was green. I am trying to pull blue accent from a rug and this color just doesn't flow. They agreed to do quality check and resend new ones so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by EclecticRomantic My husband even thought they were cool!
I finally looked at these coasters in the store, and I loved them!! There are so many different colors to choose from, and they are each unique. I don't feel you can go wrong with any of them, but it was fun to pick them out by hand.
I found out they were designed by a MN artist (or so the sales associate thought), which I thought was even cooler-- love supporting smaller/local artists! Had planned on purchasing them anyway, though, once I set eyes on them:)
If you go into the store to get these, you can select the individual coasters or colors you want. The colors all compliment each other.
These are very heavy, and will stay put. They have felt "footies"(cannot recall what they are actually called) on the bottom, so they won't scratch whatever you set them on. While they are heavy duty, they would likely shatter if dropped onto a hard floor though-- so I just wouldn't carry them around with full hands/arms-- you wouldn't want to break this masterpiece! So lovely.
My husband even thought these were super cool when I brought them home. They're just fun to look at.
A unique coaster that is pretty to look at when it does not have a coffee mug on it-- but still large enough to see some detail when there is a mug on it.
