Whorled Trapunto Rug

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Rug This rug arrived today and it is sitting on the bedroom floor right now as I write this. It is absolutely beautiful! Previous reviews were correct that is is a golden mustard color, but I was expecting that so I think it is great! The white design is raised and looks to be of great quality. The only thing is that I wish it had a non-slip back because it is sliding around on my hardwood floor, but I will just have to go purchase one to put beneath it. Also, the rug had a smell to it when it first arrived but after airing out a bit outside, it's not so noticeable anymore. March 19, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by It is beautiful, but not for high traffic areas... I have this rug in charcoal (sold out) and I love, love, love the way it looked for about the first month. It is so cute, very soft to the touch, two-dimensional. The rug really makes a nice visual impact without being overwhelming. I have mine in my living room which is used virtually all of the time and I have two dogs. This rug isn't built to stand up to that or I would venture even moderate use. It may do well in a bedroom. I am back searching for another rug at Anthro to replace this one but I am afraid all of the hooked wool rugs will end up in the same condition. December 2, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Thick and Luxurious This is the second rug that I've purchased from Anthropologie. It came this morning. I purchased it in charcoal and in the size of 3x5 for foyer of my home. The packaging on this one was WAY better than the other one I ordered. It actually came in a clear plastic bad that was wrapped in a fairly thick white plastic bag. The other positive was that this rug is the thickness you would expect from an expensive wool rug (unlike the other rug I ordered which is more of a tapestry). I haven't had a chance to clean this yet or see how it holds up under the cats (who I'm sure have found a new place to sleep now). I will try to update in a year. The only maybe thing I noticed is the white/cream part of the rug is a little dingy and looks like the gray maybe bled a little? I went of to class though and didn't look at it too long before I left. I will include pics. October 5, 2009
