Lotus Dinner Plate

Rated 5 out of 5 by almost 4 years I've been using these as my main plates everyday for almost 4 years. I started with 12 dinner plates, 12 salad plates, and 8 of the bowls. I always wash them in the dishwasher and use them in the microwave. I don't treat them carefully. I've had two dinner plates chip, but that's it. I haven't noticed any knife marks. They're beautiful. I'm also surprised that some reviewers think the dinner plates are too small. That has never been a problem for us! I like having the lip on the side when I eat. They take up more room in your cupboard when stacked than other plates might, but I have an open corner cupboard and I keep them stacked there, to keep them handy and show them off. When they're all stacked, they look like an interesting sculpture. The bowls are indeed small for eating cereal or soup, perfect for eating ice cream. I chose another style of larger bowl that looked good with these plates. April 1, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous Color I orginally ordered one of each to see if I liked them and if they would work as actual dinnerware. I fell in love!! I love the "ruffled" edges and I love the color! They are very heavy and it's such a bonus that they are microwave and dishwasher safe!! I ordered 6 of each total and only 2 (one dinner plate & one dessert plate) came damaged. With that being said, they seem pretty sturdy! I can't wait to start using them! August 24, 2011
