by viviglam NOT distressed like photo or in store.
I have been waiting to buy this. I finally did. I love the online photos and I have seen it in the stores. It's even better in the stores. It's even more distressed and hauntingly romantic in person at the Anthropologie stores.
What I got was so average looking. There was hardly any distressing and it looked like a plain mirrored dresser.
On the upside it came without damage and the drawers slid in and out easily. But it was so BORING to gaze upon.
I wanted to send it back as soon as the delivery guys unwrapped it. However I am too nice and didn't want them to have to load it back up.
Fortunately, Anthropologie customer service was very cool about it.
They are coming to pick it up and I will receive a full refund.
I am hesitant to order another one. If so, I would have to call and request a dresser to be as masterfully distressed as the ones on display in the stores.
I am leaving two stars because Anthro seems to have good customer service.
Otherwise I would leave one star for receiving something that is a mere shadow of what it is advertised to be.
Please see photos I submitted. You can see the difference!
I still recommend it on the off chance that you may not get a "lemon".
However, it was way WAY too expensive for something that came looking so mediocre. It needs to be a VERY special piece for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by VOTT Beautiful but expensive and be prepared for cracks
I bought two of these dressers for our master bedroom. They are gorgeous, however, they crack easily. If you put your cell phone down on them too hard, expect a crack. If you have a picture frame on top that gets knocked over, expect a couple of cracks. Nothing stays perfect, but for the amount of money this item costs, I wish they could have made the top of it more resiliant. I am very careful with things, and I already have multiple cracks in at least one of these dressers I own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Thomas Attractive, decent quality.
This mirrored chest is extremely attractive and looks great sitting in our entry hallway. The aesthetic is the whole purpose of this piece. The construction quality is reasonable, about on par with Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn, but nothing to get too excited about. The delivery company was excellent and treated the process with 'white glove' competence. It is important to note that with this piece you are paying top dollar for the look over the function.
