Rated 3 out of 5 by Love the zebras, hate the fit! 1. I ordered this dress before there were any online reviews ... And now that it's arrived, I fully agree with the other reviewers who have nicely summed up the fit issues with this dress: the arms are incredibly tight, it's rather high-waisted and bunches at the seams, the skirt and underneath lining are extra poofy, and there's no structure/fluidity - it just seems to hang limply as one piece of fabric with minimal seaming. Size-wise it seems TTS (I got a 6) and it fit fine, just didn't look very good on me. 2. I think the zebra pattern (that Peter Som has previously used) is adorable and quirky cute. It's a pretty blue, more on the navy side. The silk material is rather lightweight though, and has a cheap-y sheen to it so from far away almost looks a little poly. I know for these high-end designer collaborations, these are far more affordable than the usual retail versions, so for that I'm grateful that Anthro continues to bring along these options ... but this one just didn't work out for me. A shame because I think it could have been really cute 50s inspired, retro housegal kind of glam if it had fit -- but instead seems more shapeless and ill-fitting in silhouette (well, at least on me). Shucks. May 30, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by odd fit the print of this dress is beautiful But I have to return it. I usually wear a 4 or 6 in anthro dressess. I ordered a 6. the waist of this dress is very large and the shoulders are very tight. I could not raise my arms for fear of ripping the dress. So naturally I couldn;t size down. For reference I am 5'7" 130 lbs. Just love the zebra print. wish it fit better May 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I am very surprised by all of the negative reviews. I LOVE this dress! I ordered my normal size 0, and the fit is great. The silhouette has a very vintage feel, and the sleeve length and various pleating are adorable. The fit in the shoulders is slightly snug, but I have broad shoulders, and this is hardly an issue. At 5'7", the length is perfect, hitting a couple of inches above the knee. And I love that it has pockets! The print is positively beautiful, with a watercolor feel with more variation in the color than the photos show. Wore this dress yesterday, and received a ridiculous amount of compliments. Couldn't be happier with this purchase! May 31, 2013

San Francisco native Peter Som launched his namesake line in 2001, drawing upon his lifelong love of sketching, the aesthetic influence of his architect parents and the Bay Area's easy elegance. Som's premiere collection for Anthropologie, featuring his signature audacious prints and couture detailing, pays homage to the witty, wanderlusty, confident woman who wears what she loves without ambivalence, and with a wink. Here, Som plays with the juxtaposition of classic and modern: the timelessness of a fit-and-flare silhouette and a navy-and-white color scheme is energized by a wild print.
