I tried this on in XS and S (normally wear a S, 5'6", 133lbs, 32D), and they were both pretty loose and blousy, but the XS cuffs were rather tight compared to the S. It was pretty sheer; all the patterns were see-through. It's a cute summery shirt but I'll wait for a sale.

I would definitely suggest to anyone interested in this shirt to go to the store to try it on, if at all possible. Though I initially tried on a Small, I ended up buying a XS. I consider myself someone with larger breasts and sometimes find that a problem when shopping, especially for buttondown tops. But in this case, the purple motif (with giraffe pattern) was beautiful and had a great airy feel to it. The top in general was larger in the shoulders and torso, not as fitted as most buttondowns. I didn't feel that it was overly sheer or that the quality of the shirt was in any way compromised. This is one of my favorite shirts right now.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by MsKate Poorly made and hastily designed
I was intrigued by the daily e-mail from Anthro and decided to check out this shirt in the store. As previous reviewers indicated, it is somewhat sheer (not the end of the world), and doesn't feel terribly soft (bummer), and is like linen. What they didn't say was how poorly constructed this garment is. Even on the hanger, I could see that some of the sleeves were pulling away from the body of the top at the seams. This shirt is guaranteed to rip or tear. Also, upon closer inspection I could see that the collar was so minimal, it just looked silly. An inspection of the back detail also showed poorly executed design. Maybe I've been watching too much Project Runway, but I could not give this shirt many points. I left it on the rack.
