Rated 5 out of 5 by jlfl gorgeous sweater
This sweater has such a beautiful contrast between the delicate top half and the bottom, which is a much tighter weave. It runs a tiny bit big, but I think it suits the style, a cozy sweater. Can't see it in the picture, but there is a small silver disc sewn on the bottom corner that says "the knit kid". The blue is a bit brighter than it appears in the photo. All in all, very happy with this purchase!

I saw this sweater online and was a bit apprehensive about buying it because the knit at the neckline looks so delicate - I was afraid it wouldn't support the weight of the rest of the sweater. Then it went on sale and I'd be a fool not to try it. Turns out I love it! The sweater is very well made, strong knit, and the neckline holds up really well. This designer knows what she is doing. Also the fit is fantastic and very flattering. I am usually a small or 4/6 on top (34C, 27" waist) and the small fit perfectly - just like on the model. If you want a baggier, longer, more over-sized fit, I think you could size up and it would still fit nicely.
1. Sleeves are a bit short (which doesn't bother me so much since it's a lighter sweater and I probably won't need the extra sleeve length in the milder months)
2. The yarn on top is a little itchy. I noticed it after wearing it for several hours, so it's not an immediate itch, but it's still obnoxious.
3. You need to wear a tank or cami! I have a tank in the blue/aqua color and this worked perfectly.
4. It says "hand wash" but I will definitely dry clean. I would not trust washing this myself. I think it would not dry properly and may stretch into the wrong shape.

Perfect for spring evenings. Like another reviewer said, the upper part could be a little itchy on the skin for sensitive skin. It isn't that bad though. The length is also just perfect for my physique. May need a nude bra, strapeless. At this sale price, I couldn't complain
