Rated 4 out of 5 by great fit everywhere but the bust The fabrics are light and breezy, and the colors are the perfect kind of intentional clash that comes out looking exactly right. The dress really does hit at the knee. The top is heavily embroidered, which makes it stiff, but not uncomfortable. Because of its stiffness, the top doesn't conform to my contours well. With my bust - not huge, but not insubstantial - the armholes stood at attention so that from the side you could see through to the other side - armhole through armhole. I think this is fixable, either by darting near the armholes to close the gap or cutting a deep slit in the neckline, which is high, to give the girls some room. I love the dress, so I'm going for one of those options, I think. May 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Embroidery, Slight Fit Issues This is another stunner - the embroidery on the bodice is beautiful - and the color combination unique. I did find the zipper to be quite sticky (it zips up the back and has a button at the top). Fit: I am normally a six/eight. My store only had a ten to try on. It fit comfortably everywhere - I could probably get away with sizing down to the eight, but the ten wasn't overly large any where. I think this runs a bit small through the waist - so for me (thick-waisted) the higher of my two sizes or a size up is recommended. But for most - true to size. I did think the length - just below the knee at 5'6" was a bit long. Gorgeous Dress - stunning details, if I was to purchase I'd likely get it hemmed. A pass for me because I've bought to many pretty things this month - but if you love the look, it would be a great edition to one's closet. July 2, 2013
