I love these pants!!
1. "Sateen" is not an accurate description of the jeans - it's more like sueded cotton. They are not shiny at all.
2. Fit depends on the color you get. I found the white & gray to be TTS [I am 5'1", 107# and took my usual 27, but the black ones are cut small; I had to go up to a 28].
3. They are super soft & comfortable.
4. The white is a true bright white that's great for summer.
5. The black is a pure black - not faded - and are very slimming.
6. The "light" gray is more of a mid tone gray, not really light. They are darker than the regular AG Stevie's in gray.
7. Overall, I love these. Just be sure to try on at least 2 sizes if you're going to get these in multiple colors!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ksaras love in black (soso in mint)
I bought these pants in black, and after absolutely loving them for a month, i bought them in mint. while the mint ones fit the same, the light color is a bit see-through and as a result, not as forgiving -- the mint seemed to reveal too much detail about the shape of (and dimples in) my behind. not a pretty sight! but the black ones are absolutely awesome. i wear them on a weekly basis and can't recommend them enough. For sizing purposes: I usually wear a 4 in Anthro dresses and skirts and 6 in pants. I bought these in a 29 (equivalent to an 8), and they fit just about right. For reference, my measurements are approximately 37-26-39.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BooRadley MY LEGS LOOK AWESOME.
These just look great on. None of you know me, so I'm not ashamed to boast about how great my legs look in these jeans. My motives are pure: I want all of your legs to look awesome, too.
I'm a tall slim hourglass, usually a 6/8 in Anthro stuff and a 28 in designer jeans, but because I'm proportionally smaller in the waist and fuller through the hips and thigh, and the waist often gapes for me, I sometimes size up in skinnier jeans and nip in the waistband with a couple of darts. I do it myself, by hand, despite being a really shoddy seamstress, and it works better than you'd think. Try it!
I got these in a 29, and it was the right choice. The fabric (Dark Grey) is stretchy but thick and soft. It fits beautifully through the leg - not too skinny, more "straight" which is really flattering for me - and the waist actually doesn't gape much at all. They may stretch out a bit, but if that's the case I don't mind the leg getting little more relaxed. I can always do the waistband trick if necessary.
I tried another Stevie Ankle style in Sulfur Faded Plum, and they weren't a success, but these are much better. The dark grey is dark enough not to show lumps and bumps, and they hug your thigh in all the right places and are a little more relaxed through the calf. It's a great alternative to the true skinny jean, and can work with smart or casual.
The waist is a little lower than some of my other Stevie's, but because they fit me quite well, nobody is going to see anything they're not supposed to.
I love the ankle length, which on me really does show a few inches of ankle. They look great with heels, but they also look awesome with Doc Martens, in case anyone is wondering.
I really can't get over how flattering these are. I don't have traffic-stopping legs, but in these jeans my legs look a mile long and quite shapely.
BUY THEeeeM. Seriously.
