This sweater is a gem...I was a little hesitate to purchase it online because in the description it says "semisheer", but just tried it on in the store with a cami, and I completely loved it and promptly bought it!
The best part about this sweater #aside from the awesome striped colors# is that it's lightweight, so it's easy to transition into summer. You could wear it with a very light cami, or with a crisp white collared shirt underneath to dress it up for work or add more warmth/layering. I also think it will be gorgeous with a pair of white pants for summertime.
One slight downside is that to me, the fabric is very "delicate"...I have a feeling if I tried to wear layering necklaces with it, they could snag. But the piece is so pretty on its own that this wasn't enough to dissuade me from buying it.
A note about size...I typically wear a small/medium #I'm 5'10", about 140 pounds# but I found the arms are a bit tight, so the large fit the best on me. I recommend sizing up, unless you have very slim arms/frame.

I was so excited to treat myself to such a pretty sweater. This price point is not average for what I usually can afford for a piece like this, but it made me happy just to look at it, so I caved and bought it for myself. I was thrilled to wear it on the first spring-like day in NYC, and then... Pills! Where the sleeves touch the body of the sweater, and under the arms, pills had developed by 3pm the first day of wearing. Come on! I do not have a strange way of arm swinging or issues with arm chaffing. There is no good reason for this sweater to have become pilled up like a scrappy Old Navy special on its first day out on the town.

I too loved this sweater. The colors are beautiful. I just had to have it. Wore it once. A disaster. It pilled all over! Looks horrible now. WAY too much $ for a disposable sweater. Really disappointing.
